What level to go up to in Arch using AB

Hello all, I'm currently using AB to level occasionally and got to level 300 (and the raptor mount, as soon as i get enough pieces!).

My character is level 69, soon to be 70. Should I train Archeology beyond level 300? Where will AB take me then?

you're fine until 450.
since AB really doens't change zones for you..you can just leave it in Kalimdor or Eastern Kingdoms and not worry about anything.

1-525 can be done in either Kalimdor or EK
300-375+ can be done in Kalimdor, EK or Outland -- Outlands open at 300.
375-450+ can be done in Northerend -- Northerend opens at 375...you probably don't really want to go there on a lvl 70..as most places would be tough, unles you're super geared
at 451, you unlock new areas in Kalimdor and EK, where you would not want to go on your lvl 70 toon.

so basically..i would let it auto-train to 450, and stay in EK for the whole part, as it's least buggy.
dwarf, troll, night elf and fossil are lower level Azeroth fragments..at around 300 or even 375 you can also start getting nerubian pieces.
if you're looking for specific orc or drainei peieces..then you will need to head off to outlands.
vrykul is in northerend.
tol'vir is the lvl 84-85 in uldum

problem is that at 451, you unlock the sites in twilight highlands and such, where you're too low to really go...which you can try to blacklist
but..there's really no reason to train past 450...you still get xp, and have a chance to get all the rares for everything but tol'vir.

One thing to note, however...if you want to level as fast as you can..technically AB in outlands gives you more xp per hour, since continent is smaller, thus it's less time to fly between dig sites.

i have not tried to afk outlands..so I can't speak as to how buggy or not buggy it is....
but in terms of xp per hour when done by hand..it is faster.

unless, of course, you're looking for the dwarf/troll epics...though I think you need to be 450 to have a chance at getting them.

Can anyone else chime in on using AB in outlands? I have also been using it in EK because it seems to run flawlessly.

I tried Outlands a while back it died a few times flying over uncharted space if memory serves right

It seems in Eastern Kingdoms I'm only getting around 150k/hr with 280% flying + guild flying perks.

Would this be higher in Kalimdor?

I just leveled from 62-80 in Eastern Kingdoms.

280% flying + guild perks
Frost mage with amplify CC
No blacklists

200k xp/h 70 => 300k xp/h 75 => 350k xp/h 80

had some problems at first but seems they changed some mapping, now i've been afking this for the last 4 nights!

Just don't go above 375 untill you hit 80, then you have will open up every item obtainable.

had 450 @ 72 with no problems (still have since the toon is only 75). never opened up the 80+ areas, the highest it hits is blasted lands lvl 56 mobs
wouldn't go past 450 till 84, though...if not 85..depending on the class/gear
