What level can i start farming herbs and mines in uldum

I know i need herbing 500 to start there.

But i want to know the actual level my character needs to get that level of herbing and mining.

Dont wanna waste another 1day played leveling to 85 if i can go at 78 does anybody know? tnx

My hunter mined Uldum at 80 at Cata release terribly geared. If you bought some cata greens, maybe you'd be able to do it.

i was going to go there at 78 and farm volatile airs because thats fast and reliable too.

But id rather do herbing and stuff if its possible

You can start farming there when you can wear cata greens. I started at 80 with cata greens.

What class? I ask because if you plan on farming volatile airs around osiris then you'll be in for a lot of deaths if you don't have a good class, ie.Pally/DK/Hunter.
If you just ninja herbs/ore then you can get away with a druid or something as long as it doesn't hang around to fight nearby mobs, good xp/hr doing this as well.

I've actually leveled a mage, dk, rogue and now a pally farming volatile airs

Its really good if your in cata greens and you make some nice gold while your doing it ^^

Mine suck now, they are like 150g a stack... i miss the time when they were 50-100g each

I'd say level 85 and get some gear since you'll encounter lots of alliance there......
