What is this German show called? (Off-Topic)

My friend was telling me about this German tv show which is about a women who went into a comma 1 week before the Berlin wall was pulled down and she was a really strong communist and her son try's to keep her from knowing because if she has a surprise or something it can kill her.

He told me it had lennon in the name I think and was made in 2009. If you could tell me the name of it I would much appreciate it, thanks!
