my desktop is powerful but use a lot of electricity. so for the long botting session I got a laptop to do the job. it has the U series cpu and intel graphics very good on power. but performance is bad, I set my 'Max foreground FPS' to 30 when I need to do something in game. (it will hardly reach 30) but what's the lowest 'Max background FPS' I can set it to? right now I set it to 15 FPS and it's pretty jerky.

when I start the bot I press the windows button then either close the lid or let screen turn off so the WoW will be running at 'background' mode. but even at 15 FPS the CPU still get pretty hot and fan spins fast. I think the lowest u can set to is 8fps. can HB run at 8fps and still able to perform well in dungeonbuddy/questing? I wanna change it to 8fps to reduce CPU heat as i'd be running it long time, but I cannot see how my toons are doing cos it only drop to 8fps if it's in the 'background'

set the foreground graphics at 8 and start hb and watch? won't run well, but that is the solution for the way you phrased your question.

Honorbuddy was designed for a 15 FPS.

Honorbuddy will operate below that rate, but your chance of getting irrecoverably stuck while navigating goes up exponentially with every frame lost below 15. Honorbuddy may also operate as if the WoWserver is lagging hard (interacting with the same object more than once, Combat Routines make bad decisions, etc.), even though the latency is fine.

cheers,
