What happens when rift guardians drop trial keys

What happens when the rift guardian drops a trials key, does the bot pick it up and store it?

I just started on my fresh ladder toon so I haven't encountered this yet still on normal.

i have over 20 keys on season character that bot picked up for me. so yes it grabs them.

what bot do you guys use.. my rift bot dont understand what to do now stucking all the time can someone help me with my setup in the DB and witch rift bot there works best right now ?
