I want to get a new graphics card as I am going to start bottling wow and I am wondering what card should I get so I am not bottle necked and I can use my i7-2600k over clocked to 4.5 to its maximum. I will want to keep CPU usage as high as possible (90-100%? If possible). Also if I need a more powerful PSU then say please. I'd could recommend me a card and estimate how many bots I could run. Thanks a lot I am very out dated I haven't done this in a very long time and I need money for school now. I will want to use dual monitors too will that effect me in any way? I was thinking a 270x 4gb but I heard and is bad for wow, is that true? Would a gtx 750 2gb be enoigh as its cheap? Here are my current specs:

1 x 550W OCZ ZS Series ATX2.2 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply
1 x Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler
1 x Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6570 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (11191-01-20G) [11191-00-20G]
1 x Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
2 x 8GB Corsair Memory XMS3 DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 Dual Channel Desktop - CMX8GX3M2A1600C9
1 x MSI P67A-G45 Intel P67 (REV B3) Socket 1155 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard

Thanks a lot guys

Should be fine I just bought a GTX 750 for the desktop and it runs 5 copies with keyclone more than fine. It seems to me that WOW is very memory dependent though my desktop only has 8Gb of memory and runs the 5 copies at a lower fps than my laptop with only a GTX660 but the laptop has 16Gb of ram. Just keep that in mind. Oh and I run 2 x 32 inch monitors on the desktop from the GTX750 and it doesn't affect performance from what I can see.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the answer. Do you think I'd be able to manage 10 accounts with 16gb ram and i7 2600k over clocked to 4.5 GHz? Or would the video card be a bottle neck possibly?

The vid card would be a bottleneck, especially in high traffic areas like the Vale. I am not familiar with the Radeon HD 6570 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express, but from my research Nvidia cards are the best for graphic output. I have Radeon 5700 and its slow as molasses. In the vale running 5 toons at 15FPS or less and not many people on yet. My GPU shows 40-60% GPU load using 950 MB of dedicated memory and 400 MB dynamic. Running 55C or so on all three cores. The movement is OK and not choppy. about 7ish traffic will be where I cant even move about because the frame rate and detail is slowing me down so much.

So your video card is the bottleneck, not specifically the one you have but any video card you use.

Get the programs showing CPU and GPU performance and you can fine tune your setup to run. I had all my toons at 30 FPS and found I had to run them at 15 or less. HB tells me the FPS is ridiculous, sometimes I( get down to 7 FPS or less, and I ignore it.

i disagree, graphic card is your last concern,
if you put all 5 copies at FullHD resolution (1920*1080) and max details and 60 FPS yes GPU might be problem,
but when you are botting you don't really want eye candy, so minimal details and re-sizing windows to take 1/4 of screen is probably what you will do.

with minimal details any recent generation GPU with decent amount off DDR5 memory will do (2GB of DDR5 can handle 20 bots no problem your 750 can handle 40 bots at least)

in my experience biggest performance bottleneck is CPU speed but your CPU should be able to handle 5*WOW on minimum details again without problems,
also if you dont have SSD make sure you have atleast 1GB, maybe even 2GB of system ram per copy of WOW if you do have SSD ram stops being big problem also

PS for GPU i sugest one of maxwell (nvidia) cards (currently only 750 cards are maxwell, but all 8xx series cards should be maxwell when they come out) since maxwell uses much less electricity and needs less cooling than any other AMD or nvidia card, but on the other hand AMD cards are much cheaper, sometimes twice as cheap compared to same speed nvidia cards so biger power usage might not be such big problem

nvidia maxwell 750 Ti uses only 60wats for 1.3 GFLOPS of power Radeon R7 250X that has almost same speed is 95wats (50%+ more power used but around 50% cheaper also)

i prefer to use low power gear because power in my country is VERY expensive and any extra money i spend on such gear i will save in few months of using such gear

So you think my computer can only run 5? I was told like 10+ by someone if I get a good graphics card. Did that person not know what they were talking about? Thanks for all the comments guys you guys are very helpful. Hoping I can make some money. Used to not runeacape and used to make like $500-1000 a day but can't so that any more so want to try wow. I know I won't make anywhere near that much with wow but any will help for school.

you are using DDR3 instead of GDDR5 GPU that is bad, any midrange GPU can run a lot of bots but you are using GPU with slow memory

(your ATI is about half speed of 750 Ti but slow GPU memory is holding it back, if you get GDDR5 GPU of similar speed you will be able to run at least 10 bots although you might also want to check that GPU you buy has 2GB GDDR5 and not 1GB so you can expand even more in future

16GB ram is enough for at least 10 bots maybe more with a SSD

CPU is biggest bottleneck but on low details and with 15 FPS limit in both HB and WOW you should be able to do at least 10 for more than 10 do think about getting one of new generation CPUs like i4770 or even better these new 6(12) core CPUs

Buying Haswell-E CPUs when they come out next month will be not cheap. 500€ for the cheapest CPU, 150-200€ for the cheapest Mainboards and you need DDR4 RAM than, whitch is currently 110€ for 8GB.
Sure than you can run a lot more bots, but is it really worth it? I think no.

How about this card?
Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3
I've i5 2400 sandy bridge, 8gb ddr3 ram,

Do u guys think I can run 5 bots with this crappy setup?

edit: Post any suggestion under 80 usd hehe, gonna upgrade ram to 16 aswell.
