What exactly is in Zangar Marsh that is so profitable?

So a friend's account was somehow hacked last night for botting purposes. He got it back this morning and found that the bot was farming something in Zangar Marsh, but he has no clue what. Knowing the chinese, this sounds like they know something worth farming there, but I'm not sure what it could be, defiantly isn't something they would auction off (unless they had it mail to some account to handle auctions).

Def Firefly. Just farmed 5 of them up myself in the past month. Sold four of them at 4k per. Going to sell last one for 3.5k but I think ive found all the pet owners on my servers. Damn PvPers lol

I really doubt it was the firefly, there was several stacks of gray shit on the character, plus the fireflies never sell (there's 3 on the AH for 600g each).

Agreed. It doesn't go for much on my server either. Much more profitable stuff to farm for the time it takes to farm the firefly.

It might have been unidentified plant parts. Those vendor for quite a bit and drop pretty frequently.

Its much more profitable to just gather than to farm for anything, especially if you're doing it for profit.

Do you really want your income to be completely dependent on your luck?

Saronite bars are also backed by a vendor price so its guaranteed profit.

Captured Fireflys are not steady income unless the 'Chinese farmers' where farming one of each pet. And they just happened to be farming the Firefly when he came back to reclaim the account.

Almost every area in WoW is profitable and can be farmed. Every area has nodes.

yea, like hell i would farm at elywyne forest for cooper and silverleaf~

zangar marsh, how much gold we're talking here? consider it 8hours farm per day... farm nodes? herb? skin? npc drops? rare?

Please read the first post before commenting. Elywyne Forest is profitable but its not worth farming, just like most places in the WoW.
