What does GB do when it says "Move to attack"

I have a hunter I'm trying to use with GB. Until it gets merged with HB, it's going to be painful at best but...

If I use Disengage in the opener, it moves away and starts firing his gun just fine but...then there is a line in the bot logs that says "Move to attack" and he ends up running in and trying to melee.

So it looks even worse than a hunter only meleeing in that it disengages, fires a few shots, then runs in and melees for bit, then disengages again, etc.

Is there a way to have it attack but not run towards the mob in whatever GB does when it says "Move to attack" and that is when it starts running forward always...?

Sorry to tell you but there isnt any plans on merging GB into HB cause that would make the GB product useless.

Well, I understand and that isn't the point of my post as much (other than better combat support in GB is all I would like to see). Also, I thought I've read in numerous posts about that happening one day, or as a plug in so that if you own both, you can grind and gather at the same time.

Anyway if anyone understands what GB tries to do when it prints that line and if it's configurable at all, would be appreciated.

Did you try setting combat range to over 5? :P
For non-melees around 20 should do great.

I was wondering about that, but then didn't want it pulling stuff that it didn't need to.

Thanks, will try!

(also, I can see why Boss might not have used Disengage...besides not being available until 62...is that when you pop back, sometimes you invite things you don't want in tight quarters :P)

BTW - The melee works ok so far and as a BM, I can take on 3 mobs my level with just melee and no special attacks, but it looks silly as hell if anyone is watching hence the problem.
