What do you use Prismatic Scale for?

I've got tons of Prismatic Scales, but I have no idea what to use them for.

I have LW, but the PVP pieces you make from Prismatic Scale isnt selling - literally - and Prismatic Scale is down to 20g / stack, which is really low aswell..

Since I have so much of it, I dont like posting it all on the AH, as I am gathering more than I would be able to sell.

So can anyone suggest me what I should do with it? :-/

It is a reagent for creating tier pieces (blue & green).

If you aren't willing to craft with them ... or sell them ... mail them to an alt or yell in Trade you're selling to help out others level their Leather Working.
 
Thanks, I did already check wowhead - and yeah, I do know its for crafting :P

But I was thinking if someone knew how to make more gold out of it, rather than just selling it raw for 20-40g / stack or crafting PVP gear which dosnt sell..

Depending on the market, would you be opposed to crafting the item, DE'ing it and selling the enchanting goods?
 
I need to find myself an enchanter but yea, that is viable.

However Im not sure if it can be worth crafting and DE'ing. Mats would have to sell for more than the raw scale price
 
Well there aren't too many options:
  • Sell on the AH
  • Sell in Trade
  • Craft the item and sell the item
  • Craft the item and DE the item
  • Store the item in the bank

I'd log into the Undermine Journal and check the price output for all options, after that it is either finding a buyer or discovering the peak day.
