What do you do to avoid being banned?

So, I see that some people are getting banned for many reasons, but I would like to know how you avoid being banned? Is it by running custom profiles? Botting X-X amount of hours? Or is it something else? Like running 1 profile for 2 hours then running another profile in a different area for X amount of hours. I assume many things but I would like to hear from some of the more experienced botters here.
 
Well first of all. I actually play. What i use is just the "combat Bot". And a very good custom cc. The movment is 100% controled by me. The reason why people get banned is due to the MOVEMENT! This is why i cant risk getting my acc banned. People asks whats the point of using the bot then cant u just do that stuff your self.? Well not necessarily. With using a custom CC, It adds less stress to me when im playing. With my strong form of ADHD! i get frustrated easily if i "mistakenly" click Lay On Hands. at 90% hp when i ment to actually click "divine Protection" haha. The bot DOESNT make the mistakes and is always 100% accurate!
 
Not botting on an account I can't risk to lose.
 
im using lazy raider aswell for the reason above haha... no need to stress the dps /healing and can just focus moving out of bad stuff.

but yeah when it comes to afk botting i dont really care and dont stress it too much, i just set LogMeOut to log me off after certain amount of stucks, i dont give a f about whispers becase you are not even required to answer them and you are feel free to ignore everyone even if the bot is not running. Im running same profile 4-8 hours.

ahh so u do what i do? Even if you are a pro player your still gonna mistakenly forget to INTERRUPT that one spell. Or maybe forget to use the next spell in the rotation list, if you know what i mean. With the CC if you get a good one, It does all that for you! optimizes your DAMAGE and all

I never thought of that, so I can do heroics and what not but the bot does the damage and I move around? That is pretty sweet I didn't know that...
 
yes bro. and thats ALL I USE!. but but but! you HAVE to find a good cc. for instance. I have a pally. The best cc is currently in devolpment nearly finished im using it now! and from my monitoring using "recount" i notice the rotation is perfect! and the bot always inturrepts. Fears and specific spells. All you gotta do is move around the target like an IDIOT and pretend YOU ARE the one using spells. when really its the bot. It works best for MELEE classes tho, but can be still used with any class as long as i have a good COmbat ROutine downloaded! Doing this reduces alot of stress and it does maximize your damage. The cc i use. Will INturrept certain spells (depending who im dueling or fighting). It will also HEAL its self when needs automatically. Its really fun because it shows as if you are playing your self. Just download a GOOD CC and activate Combat bot disable ALL movement and duel :) Your incontrol of the movement while the bot is in control of the damage :) if you always do that and never actually MOVE bot your chance of getting banned are like 1 in infinity! haha
 
yeh im only dispelling /interrupting manually in pve and pvp the bot does it most of time..
 
I always make sure i check the bot every 15-20minutes. Just have a quick glance at the screen to see everythings ok. I only ever bot for no more then 5 hours periods. then all stop bot and afk for 15-20 minutes then come back for another 3 or 4 hours. So it looks like your taking a break. Even throw in a few stops for 5mins. Try to make it look MORE human. I never put more then 15 stacks on AH of anything.
 
yeah indeed haha :) sometimes i even put a close follow on tank ( for trash example) and alt tab or something lol.

I usually never post anything on the AH, sometimes I donate herbs/ore I farm to my raiding guild but other than that I break down materials and sell ink, as for ore I usually sell it to bulk buyers because I dropped JC, it seemed like shit this xpac... especially on my server.
 
I never leave it unsupervised and only use my botting account on my laptop through ***. Granted, I haven't been botting long (few weeks, currently using leveling bots), but I try to be very careful about maintaining normalcy on it. My bots are in random guilds and I'm quiet, but I do participate in conversation on occasion and I answer whispers promptly. I don't mail things between my accounts, I have a banktoon who is in my main account's banktoon guild and use that way to safely use items. I don't flood markets, most of my gathering is for personal use leveling professions on my main account or crafting a couple things to make a little gold on the AH.

I work full time, so my usual botting schedule goes ... Wake up, open game and quest bot some lowbies, keep laptop in common area where I pass it by all morning as I putter around the house getting ready for work. Turn it off, go to work 11-8, come home and open it up again. Quest or gather bot for a few hours, change profile to something else, bot for another hour or two and then shut it off when I go to bed. Weekends I put a lot more time on it if I'm home and then give it an hour break every four or so hours.

I would say it COULD be, especially on a higher populated server, but I can't say for sure. "Detectable" I don't think they can detect it, I think they just stare at you for a while, then realise "Hey, this guy is a bot..."
 
It can be if you're running the same profile for hours on end. You'll start winding up in the same spots after the same amount of time - if in doubt, swap farming profiles around after a little bit and avoid using the same profile for a long time.

I'm not on an high pop server, and i bot only for a few things :

- Upping the archeology
- Farming Onyx Eggs
- Darkmoon Faire dailys

And whenever i farm the eggs, i do it when there's almost no one on the island :)

You mean that people can report me or blizz can detect me directly ?
