What best way to level etc - i'm new

Atm, i'm using Kicks 1-90 quest and sometimes change it and go with botanist's 1-90 grinding profile. I'd like to incorporate dungeons as well, don't like using same profile 24/7.

And in terms of quest efficiency, who would take the lead kicks, Cava?s Profiles lvl 1 to 90 or TheBrodieMan's Profile Compendium.
 
Been awhile since I've leveled with a new toon, although I did just start one, but once you get to around 60, Archaeology used to be SUPER fast and take you to like 75. A RAF setup is obviously pretty quick but I think Kick's and Botanist's are your best bet. It's what I'm using.
 
Also might be worth noting that if you aren't in a rush and want multiple characters leveled, might be worth alternating to get the rested xp bonus to make it most efficient.
 
I used brodies until ~46, switched to Cava until 58, then used kicks for 58-70. Will decide what to do once at 70. I also take breaks and use botanist's every so often to break from questing.
 
I think i'll switch betweens kick's and botanist's and do some dungs in between then, i'm in no rush really. I don't think i'll touch any of the gathering then seeing as that seems most bannable.

and the combat routines are used if i play myself?
 
I level from 80-90 with petbattles safe and fast about 2-3 days (5-7 hours each day each toon).
Why lvl with petbattles? Selling lvl 25 pets = shitloads of gold on my realm :D

seriously? I never considered this. I'm leveling a druid right now and so far he is at 88. It's been like 4 days since I hit 80 and I bot almost all day save for like 8 hours.

whats the fastest way from 80-90 is my question....

I've seen battlepets as an option (But my highest 3 pets are level 7,7, and 6.....

So should I just stick with Kicks? or spam dungeons as a healer? ....or are the pets levels high enough that I'll still get FASTER experience by doing the pets...?

Actually if you can find a friends account that has same pet levels as you (7, 7, 6) if you both queue for battle pets at the same time, you will go against each other and after 1minute you can forfeit the battle, gaining the XP which is equivalent to your level questing

Somewhere on Ownedcore there is a script someone wrote to auto join battle/queue battle and i used it to level up alevel 1 warlock with no bonus XP to 90 in approximately 1 1/2 days

As far as leveling with HB; I recommend RAF+Dungeonbuddy
 
Atm for my level which is 30s-40s I find questing the best xp, along with dung if im monitoring it. I don't really like grinding at one spot for monsters as the xp seems low, not sure if this will change at the higher end numbers.
 
I grinded a lot in Cata and MoP level areas only because I did not have the time to make sure the bot was not getting stuck. 1-60 should be questing, no doubt about it there. I would stick with questing as much as possible, grind when you're going to not be able to check your computer periodically (every hour or so). Sometimes the bot surprises me and goes from 70-75 without getting stuck, you never know.
 
I just finished leveling a hunter from lvl 10-80 in 7 days 22 hours played, grinding with Botanist's Pangaea profile "pack".
Only issues i experienced were about lvl 35'ish, on the border to a thousand needles. It seems to "sit" and go afk on a part there, due to it being on a phased zone line - That causes it to basically just sit there, untill you move it :P
And ofc. the last issue; Warsong hold, it simply does not work atm. lvl 68-70.
I recommend using: [Grinding] Indu'le Village + Snowfall Glade Dragonblight - if you're horde, just edit the file to lvl 68 instead of 70. It works perfectly, lvl 70-71 mobs. so it goes fast :)
Then simply start up Pangaea once you hit 71, and it's good from there.
Overall 95% AFK'able.

The above isn't really fast, Kick's questing used to be faster.
However, the !K questing pack seriously needs to be edited :P way to many stucks etc. for it to be afkable.
And i'd rather have it take 2 more days, and be 95% afkable, than 5% afkable ^^

To answer the question;
Questing is best, but doesn't really work that great atm.
Grinding is easy and more stable.

Raf and using a *5 dungeon team is probably the fastest :)
But try out a few things and get some experience on it, that's the only way forward.
 
I started using RAF + LazyRaider to tank manually + LazyBoxer to set DPS/Healer to follow/assist me.

I also tried queing with a mage but she dies too often.

I'm going to make a Death Knight eventually and try out Botanist's.

But I enjoy the dungeon method the most so far.
