What are you more likely to get banned for?

Hey guys; just wondering Not sure if theres been a post like this But what are you more likely to get banned for using -

PvP Bot
BG Bot
GatherBuddy 2



I'm just wondering which one is more suitable to use; i'm not currently interested in the other profiles of the bot just these atm, and wondering which has a higher ban ratio

its not a matter of what bot, but how you go about it. if you load up a public GB2 profile like uldum your going to be banned just a quick as not properly setting up hb to deal with pvp.

I'd say GatherBuddy. I see far more ppl in the 'Banned' forums talking about GB than anything else. The main reason is to CnG's point about public profiles and the number of users who use them. Nearly everyone farms mats for gold. Not everyone PvPs. In BGs, the only way you really get reported is if you are botting and AREN'T helping...but seeing as how i do very well on charts with BG Buddy, ppl seem to leave my toon alone. Especially when botting something like AV, where there is alot of chaos.

However, if someone is out farming nodes and sees you and a train of other bots using that node before him and causing him not to get it, you can almost guarantee you are getting reported.

Setting up the bot correctly though, goes without saying, and not doing so won't end well.

Without knowing how many HB accounts are used just for one purpose and then knowing that activity at a certain time was what caused the ban then how the hell can you say what activity causes more bans?

There is no context to the Banned forums being a measure of what causes most bans.

I don't think ANYONE knows for sure. It's called opinion, something this forum (and the internet) is filled with. My statements, are based on personal experiences and the commonality of what was happening when others were banned. Sure, it may not be the real reason...but I also don't think it should be something that you just ignore.

IMO, GB2 just due to the fact of pure laziness in setting up a private profile and a rotation of different profiles. If you spend several days flying the same route over and over again, it's just a matter of time before you will be had. Plus if your CC is having issues at all it will cause all sorts of problems overall. Once again.. IMO.

I leveled from 75-85 ONLY using gathering bot. No whispers, no wars. Ur safe to go bro Well not safe, but doubt you'd get in trouble over it.
