What are you guys farming to make gold?

sorry for this "Whining"-post but i am a little bit frustrated right now.

I have no idea how i can make gold these days. The prices for ores just suck at the moment (examples: stack titanium ore 60-70 g, mithril 10-20 g) and there is almost no demand. For herbing it even looks worse. My bot is farming 24/7 but i only earn 400-500 g every 10 hours. And this only because i sell most of the stuff (yeah, even ores) to the npc.

On my realm i use to (this was a few months back, havent been able to farm recently) farm with herb in Shola, and made an average of 6000G/24 Hours, best was 8000G/24 Hours and worst was 4000G/24 Hours.

This was only selling Frost Lotus and vendoring the rest.

For me they were 20-30g a piece, ill check what they are now.
EDIT: 19g a piece on my realm right now.

Yeah, a few months ago one titanium ore was sold for 30 (!)g, so this means 600g a stack. Today: when you are lucky you get 70g.

I am just wondering why there is no demand. It is strange.

On my realm an other botter is selling Frost Lotus herbs in the auction house. He sells them for 17g a piece (he has 200 auctions for them Oo). Mybe i will try this out. Thanks.

Woltk is out for like 2 or 3 years now? Everyodys main has gear alright . We are in period before Cataclysm so people are saving up for new expansion.

That price for titanium is pathetic. It's 300-400g/stack on my server although admittedly it's going down. Try other methods instead of selling raw. Use your herbs to make glyphs (I can teach you how to become a glyph factory churning out hundreds of glyphs per day without much effort). Turn other herbs into flasks and sell. Prospect and cut ore. Turn saronite into bars and AH or vendor. Prospecting saronite has over 30 routes you can go using what you get, just do a bit of research. Fish feasts are always good along with other cooked fish.

This exactly is the way how i can make my money (as i sad: 400-600 g every 10 hours).

With flasks you can not do much money either. But i thank you for your tipps!

Luckily my realm is not as low as yours

I farm Saronite, Titanium, and the Herbs of Icecrown and WG

Titanium on my realm still gets me 200 a stack, saronite I sell smelt and vendor. And the herbs sell for around 20 gold a stack. Then I got Eternals and Frost lotus that sell well on the AH still.

I can normally bring in 5k to 6k a day when I run my 2 bots about 8 hours.

My server the mats sell for more than the flasks, no point in making them at all, just sell the raw materials. FL @ 24g now, was 10 when the last patch hit Slowly recovering. Titanium and Saronite still show, flasks in the toilet. Pets sell for not much at all

If your on a busy server with botters you wont farm as much, i got 3 farming accounts and on one in wintergrasp he is normally there himself, on my other 2 in wintergrasp i've seen 5/6 people all fighting for the ore.

Also, if you're using multiple bots, do a bit of research on other servers. Create level 1 accounts and check their auction houses for the most obvious things such as eternals, frost lotus, titanium, flasks etc. Find one that's still thriving and create a character there. Bot him to 80 and take advantage of two servers at once. More servers = more customers = more sales and less competition with yourself. You can also try simply switching to alliance but you'll be farming against yourself if you choose the best spots on both chars.
