What are the odds of me being banned?

While I fully understand that one should never bot on an account they dont want to loose, I casually bot on my main account. I have a bunch of well geared 85's which I dont want to loose, however it wouldnt be the end of the world if I did. So I risk it, meh its just a game.

So I bot every few days, occasionally bot bg's to gear for pvp, and every other day or so Ill run a Twilight Highlands mining bot for about 3-4 hours. I never really exceed 25 auctions, (been making a fortune off inferno rubies from prospecting the ore, and usually sell them face to face rather than on the ah).

So what exactly determines a suspension, as opposed to a perma ban?

Say I get caught mining (first time offense)..... would I be likely to loose my account forever or just get a suspension?

I usually run my bot while I sleep, and set the profile to log out after a couple hours. I personally dont understand all the talk on these forums about monitoring a bot. The way I see it if Im gonna sit there and monitor it then I may as well just do the farming myself.....

Seems you're aware of the risks, so I'm not gonna go and tell you about it.

Personally I've been botting more or less like you for 4-5 years and I've never been banned. I've got a suspension once but that was because of reports in BG.
I'm not saying you're safe botting like you do, because you never are. The only reason I survived the Glider banwave was because I was slacking and had a week or 2 off botting - which was luckily the detection weeks. That's the only banwave I've been around for. Everything else seems to be from overuse/player reports etc.

Gm in charge of your case is who determines what you get for a ban. Some Gm's will message you and warn you to stop botting.
Some will give you a few hours off to think about if its really worth botting. Some will 3 day ban you and well the rest of very pissed off Gm's that most likely make $5.25 a hour will perm ban you
