Summary
  • +1250 Str
  • +350 Vit
  • +370 All Resists
  • +3497 Armor (If using a shield, minus 1000 if without)
  • +225% Crit Dmg
  • +30% Crit Chance
  • 996 DPS Weapon with a Socket, no Main stats
  • => 26,616 DPS unbuffed

Note:

No sniping of Auctions/Good Deals allowed.

For Armor/Shield Items: All stat values and gold costs listed in spreadsheet are the average taken from the 1st page results of the GAH, sorted in ascending buyout price (1st page result will show a list of the cheapest possible items)

For Weapon: Highest possible DPS item (Axe/Mace/Mighty Weapon) with a ceiling of 50Mil is chosen.

I don't like to waste my time on excel and making numbers, instead of that I just gear up my toon in much better gear below 30 mil trust me. Anyway I appreciate what you're doing and everyone is doing what gives him fun. :)

Jesus meph go learn to play the game and how to gear properly in a day and then you can stop driving yourself broke trying to gear a char.

u whould rly buy a 1k dps weap with soc and 2%ll for 45m oO.

Just make a shoping list with what u want.
Ill "snipe" it for u with 200%margin and u would still save money.

Didn't buy it. In fact, I don't even have 1mil gold on my accounts, everything in the spreadsheet is just theorycraft shopping. Knowing what to buy doesn't mean that it will be available at the right time and price though.

That 1k dps weapon happened to be the cheapest, highest dps, 1-socket weapon with Life steal under 50Mil, although it isn't cost effective (some ceiling price people here might reach).

Side thoughts:
- Apparently for a fixed 30% crit chance, 225% Crit Dmg, 1200dps weapon at 1.3 Attack Speed would still 1900 Str to reach 50k DPS unbuffed.
- An imaginary shopping list to reach 70k DPS, 600 All Resists, 50K HP for S&B build looks impossible for 300 Mil.

lol i cant tell if you are being serious.

i promise i am not going to exaggerate now. when i gear a barb for A3 inferno i spend 50-80m on it. after that it will have following stats:
~57-60k life
35-38k dmg (unbuffed)
800-1000 res (buffed)
1400-2000 LoH
6500-7000 def

guess i could do better if i would start bidding on items and snipe instead of just insta-buying everything - cant be bothered though. this goes fine with 3-5 death/hr.

Would you rate 50-80Mil gold as a low cost budget, since inflation is rampant? When was the last time that you did a head-to-toe shopping for a new Barb bot?
 
I spent 25 million in the last 4 days, I can now faceroll act3 with 60k hp, 800resis, 55k base dps , 25crit, 350%crit damage.

Hahahaha :') 300 million, my god
 
WW is only for rich people who follow the large pack (sheep), i'm not one of them. 2H all the way. Getting 48 ilvl63/hour.
+- 1death per hour , only when it meets the most hard packs (narrow corners , arcane and walls)
 
Why is Meph investing 300 million gold into items when he's 100% sure they'll be worth nothing? Odd.
 
There's no need for that much crit chance. I made a barb with 35k unbuffed dps for under 100 mil with the same all resist, more amor, and way more health than yours just by stacking strength instead of going for cc/cd.

Maybe because I only have less than 1 million gold in my accounts and I'm just doing window shopping for the purpose of showing inflation (which proves your point that eventually all these gear will be worth nothing :p)

Window shopping is time consuming but not gold consuming.
 
It looks to me like he spent 300K, not 300M...
