Santa Monica pier. I got 78 dratini candy in 3 days. This spot has 70k exp/h without lucky egg and 145/145 pokemons. Went from level 22 to 35 in 3 days. (Not running it 24/7, having 5-8 hours break between the days)

Hmm weird. Do you have car as travel speed? Also I don't have transfer enabled atm. I have 1000 max pokemon slots (I invested), I only use the transfer option as "cooloff" when I got 1000/1000 pokemons, transfering takes 3-5 seconds each catch which is a huge loose.

Then you had bad luck with the random throw accurrancy. Bot will priorize rare pokemon very soon.

car yes, i think it might be the tranfering after every catch

I don't have random throw accuracy enabled. It used pokeballs over ultra balls, even though I did have ultra balls and had the option enabled to use ultra balls over 2400 CP, and the other options are fine aswell, just got bad luck I guess. =3
 
Well then

Not to sound argumentative, but this spot definitely doesn't have 145/145.

I've been here for 4 days and only have 119, and can assure you quite a few of the ones I have were from eggs, not caught.

This is a really good spot, but don't spread false hope of what is available to catch.

Also to your original complaint - that sucks you missed a great Dragonite, better luck next time.

same here, sometimes he uses Ultraballs on CP 10 Pokemons either
