Well Fed Buff/ Eating

Is there another way to keep the buff up with a specific food aside from Magitek? I am trying to keep a gathering food buff up while fishing, and Magitek will not work -- it sporadically decides to eat food sometimes, but is unreliable at best.

You too? I've made complaints in the Magitek thread but I seemed to be the only one. They asked me to provide logs but looking through my logs there weren't any errors, it just straight up doesn't eat food sometimes (as if the option was unchecked).

I have it running now and it will not eat regardless of what I do, only sometimes when i load into and instance or primal.

Unless magitek is doing something weird, I don't think itll eat food with fishbot.

Magitek is for Combat....not Fishing. Magitek shouldn't even load anything if you are on the fishbot. If you want to be able to use food for that, you will need to write a plugin to do it, or request someone else who has written plugins in the past to write one for you.

Magitek won't eat food for combat either half the time. I run instances with EX Combat assist, sometimes it will refresh food and sometimes it won't. I even had an instance where I had to restart RebornBuddy altogether because it would eat two food items every time with refreshed, instead of one. I am simply looking for a more reliable method, it seems like a rudimentary feature...I would certainly work on a plug in, but I am not literate in this area and would need a guide for dummies.

I agree that a Plugin for keeping FoodBuffs up all the time would be the best. That way it could be used with any BotBase and the user would be able to just switch what food to use. If it hasn't been done by the time I finish my current project, I might take a look at doing it.

Just in case people find this thread without seeing the plugin, there's now a plugin called GourmetGuy that will keep a food buff of your choice up for you no matter what BotBase you're using. Link in my description.
