Weird bug - Exilebuddy launches but won't come to the foreground (stays minimized)

Hi there,

When I launch Exilebuddy it shows up on my taskbar but I cannot get it to pop up. Something tells me that it is because my laptop has a QHD+ screen and my desktop does not. Can it be that somewhere in the settings there's something that prevents my laptop from properly using the copied file directory from my desktop?

I'd love your insights (I can't really just use a fresh installation because I put too much work into configuring it)


ps: just tried fresh installation, that DOES pop up properly, so it must be something in the copied files that doesn't make sense to my laptop, but does to my desktop.

You can try the windows shortcut windowskey+shift+arrowkeys to see if it will pop up. This shortcut is normally used to move windows between different screens.
Otherwise you can try windowskey+arrow left/rightl.

For each of the configs you copied over inside the Settings folder, check "Gui.json".

That will contain specific GUI coordinates/sizes, so you should be able to delete that file alone and have it re-created on your desktop in case your windows were placed too far out of your desktops range.
