Was there any further development? That article is 6 months old. Just because someone is taken to court doesn't mean it is illegal to do it. If Bossland won, then you could solidly make that argument.

And are you trying to make arguments just to argue? I'm not 100% positive, but placing a mole into a company to gain insiders secrets would fall under corporate espionage law and any information gathered through said mole would never hold up in court.

And then when it's all said and done, you have another lawsuit on your hand for damages caused because of the matter...Just like the one that Bossland is waging against Blizzard right now.

That only applies if: 1. There is evidence that specifies that the employees purpose for employment was to trade insider knowledge of proprietary information and 2. If a non-disclosure agreement was signed. Is this not correct?

Also, I am sorry if it feels as though I am trying to argue for the sake of arguing. I am well versed in patent laws, however copyright I am a little iffy on so I question from my knowledge pool and try to sort out differences from there. From discussions I either strengthen my own argument or replace it based off of new more reasonable evidence given.

You can do a google search and see that blizzard requires all their employees that may touch proprietary info to sign both an entrance and an exit NDA. Additionally, what's the point of a mole if they aren't gathering insider info? So yes, a mole hired by the HB team would fall under corporate espionage standpoint (at least from that standpoint, I'm still not 100% positive that that's the correct legal terminology for this situation).

Technically couldn't someone download the bot prior to purchase and then reverse engineer it and figure out how we are using it on blizzard servers to bypass warden? I honestly thing bossland needs to make these forums private to only subscribers and not the open public.. as well as the downloader.

I don't think you can obtain the source code from just the downloadable HB. I could be wrong though.

I was saying that there would have to be proof of trading insider info. If there is no proof then you have nothing but baseless accusations which would never fly in a court of law. Also, the NDA was more pointed towards Bosslands lawsuit against blizzard and Apoc. Whether or not Apoc signed an NDA with Bossland.

Your reasoning is spot on though and if you do not have the information readily available I can always do a google search. I prefer to ask because I find it efficient if someone has already researched a subject to gain perspective from them then research if something seems amiss. Saves time.
