Hi Guys. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem, but on several of my profiles my character dies several times by drowing. Usually it goes into the water to kill a mob then ends up not getting out of the water or just drowing because the character is under the water. What could be causing this?
 
if you have a log with the water issue we will catch the bug and what is causing it
 
If its very big give us the first lines with Hb and CC versions and info in general and the lines that the problem appears

Will upload a load of my logs, as I get these kind of deaths all the time. Have got them with 2 different profiles on different characters aswell, were it just gets stuck in the water and does nothing.

EDIT: Sorry forgot general info

This just seems to happen quite randomly. It will kill a mob in the water usually whilst breathing underwater. Once the mob is dead it will just sit there. Rest for a minute or two, then not move and eventually drown. I have also had it go into the water and then try to swim down and backwards. It will also sometimes just sit in the water swimming and not do anything after killing a mob, however as it is not under water in this case it will not drown. Is there something with Honourbuddy and swimming?

This seems to be a CC problem, it?s diving to kill an Hydra, when it finishes it try to rest underwater.

There is an object to cc devs to check for that:

So if the Class has any underwater breathing spell (Warlocks does), just cast it when swiming, or make the cc do a serries of jumps for about 10 seconds or so before resuming it?s own functions.


PS: i would advise you to always use the lastest version of HB. You are using 1.331 and the lastest is 1.333.

You can do the following

Delete all logs from log folder, run HB let ti goes to where the problems occours, then stop HB and get the log (that should be minimal) and attach to your post.

But i think there not much to do as i dont know any rogue or warrior CC that supports Swiming. When i said it should jump or cast a spell, it?s a sugestion to the CC devs.
 
Thank you both very much for the extremely fast response and resolution of my problem.

I am currently using Stabby Stabby by fspware, which I believe he has completely re-written for HB 2.0 and Themscryia also by fspware, which will most likely have a small revamp for his 'The One CC'. Do you think it is worth notifying him?
 
I have the same issue on all my melee characters. Its not a CC issue its a profile issue. And its not so much an issue, HB is doing what the profile is telling it to do; "Pull all mobs with this faction ID" so it does. If that mob happens to be in the watter HB does not care. And the CC is simply reacting and killing the mob.

I suggest you black list the area its getting stuck or remove the faction ID from the list.
 
This is more of a profile/hb issue with underwater movement then a CC issue. You can have the CC give you breath, but it will still end up getting stuck/drown a lot. It's a lot better in HB2 though.
 
Having the same issue on my hunter in Ashenvale with Actaeon.

Sounds like not much I can do though so I'll perhaps have to run a profile away from water :(
