Do some research, look at what sells for how much and then work out what is best to spend your time doing.
If herbs/ore are rock bottom but gems are high then prospect with JC with the ore shuffle, if herbs are lower than 30g/stack then inscription for shoulder enchants.
Basically you need to look at what's best on your server then do some maths.
