I was really cautious with my accounts since 3 years...but seems to have something new...

20/6 account banned : 3 online gatherbuddy2 , 2 offline after gatherbuddy2 , 1 online questing

Not ban ah bot, professionbuddy bot, pimpmyguild and 11 account offline every days bot 3/4 hours

All accounts in eu server

I had 11/11 banned for good, appealed and got 7 back, with just 72 hour suspension . Oh well, good enough.

either way, ppl should question how are they targetting gb2... other gather bots doesnt seem full of ban reports, just hb... maybe its time to consider looking into whats really happening devs, instead of deleting threads that hint at software detection

I was not using honor buddy for herbs. So they are not targetting GB2, they are banning based on gathering statistics I think.

It's either software detection, but hardly, I checked my whole PC and cpu procceses and haven't found anything. My guess is they made a system wich marks each player after it mines/herbs a node/herbe and if there is more farming then some set limit, like 500 nodes or so, they give auto ban.

Thats bullshit, any player can do hardcore hand farming, it doesnt mean he will get banned.

People saying different IP address need to know that at least in the UK you need a business line to have multiple public IP addresses, my guess is that people get confused with private and public IP addresses.

so when i use 1 bot in home with my home IP and 1 bot in my work with my work IP this is not diferrent IP right?! :O

Thats true .. its never devs fault, every bot has the risk to get detected, and no1 knows for sure if honorbuddy is detected, but this new wave of bans is strange, no other bot as far as i can tell has been hit like this, you can argue and say its nodes per hour, auctions .. whatever... but other bots do the same, and they havent been banned like this. Im nto saying hb dev team is to blame, just saying they should pay attention to this bans, something odd is going on... and theres alot of code inside wow client besides warden...

Your account is flagged for a while I had an account unbanned last month i started botting 1 week after and the day after my sub renewed my account was perm banned and they wont undo it. If you do continue to bot i would create a guild with a clean account and transfer gold to it daily this is what I did, this way u keep all your gold u farmed.

It's not detected... If it was HB would be detected. What most probably happened is they found patterns used by bots and u where doing the (exact) same over a long period of time.

So if GB2 is safe, depends on ur profile.

Question urself what profile(s) did u use..
