Was everyone who was banned playing seasons?

I'm reasonably certain there are many ways Blizz can detect bots.. But how easy is it? The question is, were ALL of the people who were banned playing seasons? It was alarming for me to see all my gear in an ingame email.. Wouldn't it at this point be too easy for Blizzard to scan all players (while the gear is in the email) for say over 1000 souls or over 30000 arcane dust or whatever enormous amounts of loot you had in your stash.. It would take one Blizzard employee less than an hour to scan a million accounts for questionable loot.. follow it up with a quick look at the history and wham..
