Today, my Windows Defender anti-virus started showing off warnings that I have the trojan:
Trojan:Win32:/Fethar.B!cl

It put the item in quarantine and I told it to delete the trojan. Then suddenly Honorbuddy stopped working. So I uninstalled it and made a clean install. The Anti-Virus gave off another warning. While the trojan is in quarantine, The honorbuddy.exe's name is changed to honorbudy.exe.config.
So it seems that HB is giving off trojan warnings. Is this a false alarm and should I deactive defender or what would you say?

Trojan: Win32/Fethar.B!cl detected in Honorbuddy.exe please remove trojan from your product!

I searched the forums a bit and this is what you call a false positive, I'll override the anti-virus. If I should do anything differently, please do tell.

Same here. Worked perfectly and suddenly got this notifiction this morning. Also the PC refuses to redownload it because "virus detected".

It's a false positive, which occurs from time to time.

Sorry, what does it mean by its a false positive?
Is there a way to block it from thinking there is a trojan and download the update?
Thanks, really not the most computer tech savy guy.
EDIT:
Disregard, googled it lol, and found another thread as to how to whitelist honorbuddy,
sorry for the stupid question.
Thank you
