Good Morning all, Firstly let me say I was a bit hesitant about posting this as it could be interpreted as flaming however that is not my intention it is simply my intention to put 2 and 2 together to point what has happened in my case.
On my account #2 I leveled up a toon simply to farm panda herbs/ore. Mind you I have been botting on this account for around 2 years and never received so much as a warning. Yesterday I recieved an email stating (Banhammer)
***Notice of Account Closure***
Account Name: WOW1
Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")
This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.
Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.
We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/services/anti-gold/
The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://us.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

So this is where bothaven comes in. I began using two bothaven plugins. The first is anti-stuck for druids and the other was GB helper which is supposed to help gb skip nodes with X amount of mobs near a node. I was botting for around 4-5 hours before my account received the ban-hammer. This was the first time I tried any bothaven plugins.
While I accept the challenge to bot and not get banned I think it noticeable that in the short amount of time spent farming using those plugins that I got banned.
And now the Good News. I was able to successfully gain my account back. However it should be noted on the first attempt I got a generic reply issue closed we've done what were going to do. On my second ticket lifted the ban. So to those who do get banned I would say don't stop trying on the first and second attempts. Keep pleading your case. I was heartbroken because I had saved up around 17k ore and 26k herbs that I was saving for 5.2.
Moral of the story, do some research before using plugins from an outside source.
I will say that I am an avid user of bothavens profiles and have bought a few and am very happy with them. However I will never use another one of their plugins.
