Warning something has changed, cannot login with AB anymroe.

Alright guys here's my experience. I also seemed to loose Update.exe and thought it was Glyph or Hackshield as well. Managed to re-download it and started to run it. The bad news is that whatever Out did to modify the program it is now continuously detected and deleted by AVG and other anti-virus software, even after added to the white list or exceptions. the good news is it seems more stable now and less prone to loose contact with the server and "Update Failed". So the only solution I can find to be able to run AB is to turn off anti-virus completely. Sorry guys maybe Out will have more info when he logs in next.

at least you were even able to redownload the updater.exe. Perhaps there is a different link? o.O
 
Have also some strange behavior on EU / Hackshield.

One of my clients got "God disconnect...". When I launch the client via AB now I got a message "Since a part of the Engine files is currently running you need to restart...." and it will restart something in 10 seconds. If I cancel it the game doesn't start. (Hackshield is trying to update itself and can't because other clients are using it (?) )

Yes I cannot redownload the Updater.exe :/ kinda upset about this.

EDIT: I can download it on my other computer for some reason. So I did and gave it to myself via dropbox, but it is still not working. :/ Says "Side-by-Side configuration not working."

try and keep downloading it, i had issues wehre it didnt download the updates completely, but jest kept trying like 10 times, and finally it stuck
 
So my anti-virus was preventing me from downloading and stuff. Not sure how that got turned back on, but it was interfering with the Updater. :/

I am having the same issue sadly. Anyone know how to fix it?

You have two options as far as getting it to run with a virus scanner. You can either turn off the virus scanner each time you boot up your PC or disable it completely. These are the only methods I've found to easily download and run. FYI I'm not sure if the firewall effects this or not. I've had mine off for some time.

EDIT: discovered today that the Firewall does NOT affect AB only the virus scanner
