Warning for people still using IB

So last night I was doing level 15 dungeons with my friend doing RAF. And we get in and we have these two people from the same guild doing the instance. About 5 mins in I can tell there both using IB. Using the unstuck every 30 secs slow attacks blatant following of me. So I asked if they were there. Got nothing back. Right then I knew they were using IB.


To shorten this. Don't use instance buddy. It's so blatant that your a bot it's not even funny. I wanted to send them a tell warning them to stop or someone is going to end up reporting them. But I didnt want that to be on there chat logs if a GM seen it and came back to me.


The current state of IB is really bad and if you care at all about your account don't use it. Anyone that has any botting exp will know and report you.

Just a warning. Trying to help people not get banned.

I know for a fact that some people that use bots still report others for botting. If you do this please stop using HB and never come back. If you see someone using IB don't report them. But rather kick them if there looking like a blatant bot to save them from getting reported.

TL;DR
IB is broken and shouldn't be used till IB2 comes out. Dont use if your care at all about your account.
 
Maybe you should read the IB thread a little more carefully. It says DO NOT USE IB IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE AFK.
 
I have used IB about 3 maybe 4 times while watching it and... with awfull results.. and had to intervene and finish the dungeons myself.

I was observing it to see if it was ok to leave my chars leveling with mixed (questing and IB) and im glad i checked first.

first time i remember was with a hunter in brd and the hunters pet was attacking the wrong mobs and pulling everything.. this could have been a settings things though.

tried a few times since that one but to no better and last night tested it again in Uldum and i have no idea what it was doing but wasnt following the group properly nor attacking the correct targets and looked blatently bot like, gave up after 2nd boss as i felt i was pushin it too much and didnt want reported.

In conclusion i am avoiding using it.
 
IB was great at one point but it seems something happened to it. Now it's just so blatant. I just want to warn people not to use it right now. I meen no disrespect to raphus at all. Just warning people.

Also... Since it comes packed with the bot. Some people dont even read the post on it and just turn it on without reading the thread thinking you can AFK it.
 
Well maybe read that there they are working on an IB2 that's a lot smarter

Yes IB is broken.
IB2 is going to be far better.

He just made this as a potential heads up for users who aren't so experienced with the bot.

Yep. It was just to warn people who are new or just don't know. Never was to flame anyone on there work. I just don't want people getting banned for something stupid like this. As I have exp of being banned and know how bad it sucks.
 
I meant flaming each other. Everyone knows IB is dead.
And won't be updated because IB2 is being created.

Anyways, I've discussed this enough.

It still depends on the dungeon. I watched my resto druid run non stop UK's as a healer. Not one death, not one intervention, not one whisper. I got 4 levels in like an hour or 2.

The introdution email from boss, should have links to a few guides other then the installation guide.
that way people would learn the "right way" the first time they try out this bot ;)

Good point. Hopefully Tony or a higher person from HB will see this. So a bump from me :)
 
There was a list of totally AFK dungeons somewhere on this board, there was enough of them so you could afk all the way to 80, running the same dungeon over and over again for 5 or 6 levels, unfortunately I can't remember which thread it is in. Someone might have a better memory than myself and repost it here.

To be fair that is how most hunters actually play, tehe.
