I too have just had all my eu/us warcraft accounts - both active and inactive - banned.

The fact that its cross continent, and like others have reported including inactive game licenses with current licenses means they're coming down hard.

these people that were bannd were hardcore botters, multiple accounts and using quite a number... I don't see anyone other than 3 people (including you) that were banned recently and the ban figures are lower than normal too.

Im not a hardcore botter, I botted on 1 acc and got banned. I think there are many more like me just cba posting

I never said anything about being 'hardcore' or being 'softcore'. I just wanted to add another voice (along with fpsware and botanist) to confirm that even us 'small fry' can suffer FULL BATTLE.NET bans.

Like i said, US / EU / Active / Frozen accounts all banned on single battle.net in 1 swoop.

we always use to say that they only banned wow accounts - we can't anymore

I was banned too recently but most of the bans are due to excessive botting
I only bot 1-3 hours at a time now and only 6hour max a day

No sir if you were to look at the ban section you would see more than just them are getting banned. I was recently banned 10/12 active and inactive so yeah they are coming down hard

GB2 with randombuddy plugin 7-15 everyday (babysitting with teamviewer at work), in the meantime 2-3 times ahbot with 2 chars,
mote of harmony farming (when im coming back home)~2-3 hours/day- 1 account and no ban. I just want to say (imo) every way of botting (except bgbuddy and dungeonbuddy) is quite safe. simply can not exaggerate.

Sucks to hear that it's battlenet wide, but I think if you're going to bot you need to have separate accounts. I have 5 accounts all linked to my battle.net that I play personally, then I have another 4 mule accounts that are not linked to my battle.net account that I will bot on, these accounts have no interaction with my main accounts, in fact I even run them in windowed mode while playing main account. In my time of botting I've only received one 72hr suspension which was not from botting.

I had 3 battle.net's going. 2 were carpet banned 1 remains active. So yeah :S
