Dont know if this is in the right section but, i used to use Pirox and from what i understand pirox had protection from warden.

My question is does HB have any protection or is there any steps i can take to guard myself from warden?

HB has long since had protection from warden.

Yeah but how, like doesnt warden check what processes your computer is running, when i do it it says Honor Buddy attached to wow, lol, not really hidden well there.

Maybe i dont understand the whole picture?

Blizzard can't check what you are running on your computer.

Im afraid they can thats what warden does.

when you agree to play wow, you know you check the TOS, in the tos it states they can check what processes are running on your computer.

they can more than you think. they can even count how many filthy videos you have on your harddrives.

but they are not allowed to scan your pc anymore.
we are not allowed to use bots, but we do it.
blizzard is not allowed to scan our pc's, but who tells us they don't do it?

guys its so simple rly if bliz u think that scans ur process simple rename the honorbuddy to defrag or anything.

i dont think it is easy like this.
example: however you call your wow process, honorbuddy is able to find it and to connect it. so why should wow not have the same ability to find hb, however it is called?
renaming the process doesn't help anything. looks smart and important, but is totally useless.

Blizzard lost in court i think few years ago for scanning outside of the wow process (all of your PC processes) but that was illegal because they could basicly get personal bank info etc. So i guess they only scan the wow process and check after what's attached to it..

That's what i've heard not sure wether to believe it or not.

Not sure tbh, i know they have it in there TOS, so in order to play you have to click accept on it, and i think they added searching your processes in the TOS.

Im not 100% sure though, i just wanted to know what the protection is agaisnt warden.

Not someone just saying yeah man it protects against it.

Warden is looking for CRC checks, broken strings, API checks, MEMEdits and Packets. For the lenght of time that HB has been around, I'm pretty sure they coders know their shit by now. I'm sure they debug quite often when knew updates come about. I take a gander sometimes to see what wardens doing with olldbg. Blizzard is allowed to scan your processes, you agreed to it. If you don't feel safe using it, well don't use it. Any 3rd party product that you use is always at your OWN RISK. There wont ever be a 100% safe 3rd party program for WoW, unless Blizz got read of their anti-cheat system in all.

Apoc has stated that if there was any danger in using HB that renaming the program would do nothing.

Blizzard is allowed to scan your processes... No not in my country they don?t me accepting their rules is not binding according to the laws in for example many european countries, s? blizzard can?t scan my system, now blizzard had 2 choises, stop scaning the system or stop selling wow to millions off people and only selling in those countries that has diferent laws.

Here if i am to agree to something i need to have entered my personal information and need some way to sign it as well not just press "I agree" button it is not binding.
