So I got banned from D3 meh w/e no big deal stopped botting for a while, started checking here ever since D3 ban I see a few people a day post here that WoW accounts are getting closed. I have 2 IRL friends that are game masters that know I bot so I asked them if something was up.

What I was told was that the program used to detect bots on WoW previously only used to be run at certain times or in specific instances, now apparently it supposedly runs 24/7 I have no way of being able to confirm it but from all the people I see getting banned lately I am tending to believe it.
 
That in no way means Warden is the "program used to detect bots". This could just be their server-side analytic "detection" methods.

Even if Warden was running 24/7 it obviously isn't doing it's job or we'd have thousands of ban reports.

If they change their client side detection, aka warden, we already know before the GMs know it.

If they change server side detection, there is nothing we can do.

PFFFT, well, I happen to be best friends with the creators of WoW and they told me hahaha, you're a liar. Please, if you knew game masters that knew you botted, you'd be banned. It's their job.

There are a bazillion threads just like this one in the Archives section, if anyone feels inclined to rehash the discussion.
