[Guide - Kick] How to make profiles in HB2 (Grinding / Farming / Rep)

The hotspots are the points where your GB2 is going to fly to, basically the path it takes.
The whole time GB2 is looking for herbs or mines to go and get, the node doesn't have to be within so many yards of a hotspot, it just has to be somewhere on the path it takes to get between hotspots.
I believe there are addons or something out there to record hotspots every-so-often into a log file while you fly the path you want, so you don't have to do it all manually... I haven't looked that far into yet though.

Hijacking thread since it is current.

Anyone know how to make the wow map visible on my screen and see the triangular silver cursor move and change direction while the map is up. I want to make efficient maps for rares. When I first started playing WoW (2 years ago) I could open up my map and was able to use the WASD keys to move and I would see the pointer move on the map, theoretically I could follow the NPC-SCAN shaded areas and make nice profiles. Currently bringing up the map the cursor stays still. I can't remember if it is an addon or WoW setting that lets me do this.

errrm.... If you mean what I think you mean. I don't know about the WASD keys, but if you hold the right mouse button down and then press 'm' map (whilst still holding the right mouse button) you should be able to control left/right by rolling the mouse and for forward press the left button (as well as the right one).

*edit* nice avatar :)

^^^ this
You can also make it to where your world map does not take up your whole wow client so you can see and still control where you are going.

I stole it from another site, but couldn't get it to animate, stole yours when it did :)

I'll give the control thing a go when I get home.

I also stole it from another site lol :) I had to (I think) convert it to GIF and reduce the res which resulted in the white lines right and bottom.

I'll wait till you fix the white lines and then I'll steal it back. lol :)

This thread too a sudden turn into General Forums... But anyways, the avatar looks just fine on an iPhone... Fyi
