Thread was removed he said he'd send premium bot for paying users. Paid him his price, thread was removed and he said my paypal payment wasn't correct. not trying to jump to conclusions but if you were thinking of doing business with him, so far it hasn't been too appealing.

Considering he was charging the users that came over from Jungler twice I would say he was shady in the first place.

I wouldn't know but it doesn't really matter to me but a heads up to users who might care a bit more is always nice.

yeah I ran his original post through Google translate last night and he was charging the users that came over from jungler. I talked about it in my post here. Which you commented on and later also deleted. So I would have assumed that you saw it. But that post may have been after you bought it.

The issue with using a framework that you can hide all the code in by using obfuscated .dll files is that the moment they decided to sell the bot with next to none of the support it claims to have is that there is an immediate need for plugins with no one wanting to properly show documentation for the more advanced features which will advance the community. But instead they see the ability to hide all the code behind a .dll and charge money for it. And the fact that Out supported this with the questing plugin and posted the .dll for it after Samolka was told it was not allowed... Because he is his friend. As shown here. Yet he won't do this for anyone else, he simply directs them to the forum rules and takes it down. When the developer shows special treatment to some developers and not others and right out of the gate supports this kind of behavior it's laid down as what the community is founded on. Later yes he did release the source code for it but only after he was asked by the users over and over to do so.

TLDR: The community was founded on the need for everything to be coded by people that paid for this product in the first place because it did not come with hardly any of the functions listed on the sales page. And Out who is the developer for this project shows favoritism to people that are his friends giving them special privilege to post .dll files and forcing their plugins with the download.

I paid wize for the script and got what i paid for he has somethings to tweak but said it wont be until tonight he had to go out. Seemed very legit and plugin works 85% of what he said it did. Hes finishing it in the next day.

He sent me a request for the payment he has a business paypal account and wants it a specific way probably due to taxes, and how he has to file the money.

^^Pretty much what he said.

They released a "bot" with zero functionality. They are effectively making people pay for an API so that they can develop their own bot. I'm fine with people charging for their plugins - but Archebuddy ToS makes that impossible. Archebuddy staff as of right now expect that the community code the functionality of the bot for free while they are the only ones making money.

I've got my own private plugins (which I won't mention again because I got flooded by people wanting to buy it and people publicly calling me a liar) that I won't release until I can actually get paid for my work. Otherwise, by releasing open source plugins I stand liable to get banned much easier from Archeage.

I just really hope everyone knows that open source means that if any Archeage staff comes to the forum, they can see exactly what the bot does and create a script to detect it. Jungler (Archebuddy in Russia) was effectively demolished because of bans, yet they claim that Archebuddy is "undetectable". It's detectable because the plugins are.

Money was returned right after I got into my mailbox, didn't discuss any details for me to deliver the plugin, anyway. Thread is over. Tomorrow I'll create a threat according to the rules where I'm going deliver the Basic Version.

Thank you for all who had support me and send me messages to join the beta tests.
