VPN still a good idea?

Is running a VPN a must? Thoughts and comments appreciated!!

Nope, your more likely to get banned by being reported (like if your bot's stuck but "running" in place, and someone sees... or farming in the same area all the time, etc.

I guess my reasoning for asking is if I have 3 accounts linked battle.net, would they ban all three accounts if there were suspicious activity on only 1. All hypothetical obviously! =)

I have 9 wow accounts on my battle net . 2 are perm banned for botting . 2 are active rest are frozen from my multiboxing days .

I have always said , they only ban the accounts and not ban by bnet account .

Ok that is reassuring. What do they thnk about interaction. If you pass gold (nominal amounts around 3-5k) to other accounts do they ban those as well?

I've traded 100's of thousands of gold between accounts before then sold gold and they only banned the account that sold.

I got banned on 16 accounts tho i only sold gold on 1 I used VPN and it didn't help anything at recovery of those accounts.
