[VPN] Need help covering my tracks to main account

Hello there.
I just got my first 72h suspension on my main account. I love botting but not for the fact of making gold and profits but from the fact of programing my bot to get more optimized and see the kills/h count increase. And it's nice to wake up every now and then and have a 665 BOE on your inventory to get higher ilevel and kill even faster. With that said I can’t stop, but I feel like it’s time to let my main account rest and instead make a new account just for botting.
I’m working on a setup to get a new IP-address for the wow bot client. So I don’t use the same as my main account.

This is what I got so far:
1. A VPN from my internet supplier.
2. I have setup and installed a new freshly downloaded wow client by using Hyper-V on my PC.
3. I have changed my Mac address on that new windows 8 install.

Will this cover my tracks? Or am I missing something for great important. I don’t really care about the new bot account I know that every second you bot you run the chance of being banned and that it’s never fully safe to bot. But all I care about is that blizzard can’t connect my two account together and ban both of them.

Any tips and tricks that you guys can share with me?

They still can for example if they use HWiD as tracking.
What they really do, one mechanism or a combination of multiple ways is not known. Only Blizz can answer it.

NEVER bot with an account you do not want to loose.

VPN, Virtual Machine, Prozess renaming or whatever does not make botting safer.
Simply use an account where it is no problem if its getting banned and you will have a lot of fun.

Hmm, he just wants to have a safe main account on which he isn't botting at all. That's how I understand it. So I'm asking the same question: how do I set up my bot account on the same PC without getting any connection to my main account? Is a VM enough? And how do I move ingame items between the two accounts without them being connected?

As soon as you transfer bigger amounts of mats or gold, it is just a question of how deep will a gm dig, to get your ass.
You can do a lot of stuff to hide tracks like mule accounts, fake guild banks but if you overdo it, you're eventually fucked.

If you don't know how to use and configure a vm, using one will get you banned faster than just running both clients next to each other.

Setup without connection:

- Different pc (e.g. bot on laptop, play on desktop pc)
- Different account owner
- Different (non-linked) payment method

hi , i had the same thing with my main account , i wanted to keep it safe as thier's a lot of stuff on there i did myself , titles and pets and mounts n stuff , like you i use a bot to enhance my experience of the game , something by now you woulda thought blizz would inc as a paid for service tbh, anyway this is what i have done you need a good neighbor for this , i have a laptop that just about runs wow ok with plenty of cpu left over ( hp elitebook 8440p with i7 upgrade , cost me £170 on ebay) , my neighbor lives downstairs and is my rl gf so a bit handy for me , we used to have sky and multi room it and i dropped a lan cable downstairs for her , but now i have sky upstairs we still share that tv , but we have a second phone and bb line downstairs this gives me a completely different computer and inet connection to my main account , my botting account is then also in her name and paid for via her dd card. as far as i am aware this is the only way , connect via a different computer via a different connection paid for in the name of another person. i don't see how blizz could ever say these 2 accounts are linked.

also just some common sense advice really , when sending stuff between accounts get another person to help you and write notes to each other with the mails , you know the kinda thing that you would expect , like thanks mate for collecting that ore for me i will buy you a few pints next friday , ect.... never move anything you don't need to , if there's no need to have all your gold on a char don't put it there leave it scattered about and when you need it move it to use it. the less there is for a gm to find the better. the more it looks like 2 people the less chance your main will get banned even if the bot account does get a ban.

and when you bot gets that ban blag the 72hr ban and flog the account on ebay

There is absolutely no need in moving or having giant numbers of gold on your main account. (Beside you wanna be cool and show screenshots to others -_-)
If you need that UBER epic from the auction house, buy it and trade it to the main char via guild bank/ face2face with man in the middle.
