VPN/Mac address

I can change my ip but I guess when blizzard bans you they look at mac addresses as well? Anyone else tried to fake another user on another pc? Looking at it for a future ban excuse, i was banned in the ban wave but not for 6 months. I fear next time might be perma.

p.s dont need posts saying dont bot on accounts you want to keep just for my question.

Explain how Blizzard has access to such information and prove it.
