Most times I run, my VMware windows become unresponsive (plain black, sometimes white screen) and are unable to be revived.
Forcing me to power off the instance and reboot
i7 3770k, gtx 670, SSD with VMware instances installed on a secondary HDD

I can tell it is still running in the back because the mouse icon changes as if it were hovering over enemies mobs in game. It is just very very annoying.
Looking for troubleshooting steps for this as it is my first time working with VMware.

P.S. is running them in VMware any safer?

try to make suspend instead of power off. It works for me, because screen goes black, when i look at after night or longer time had been away
