very weird experience

So I queued up this morning like I normally do for random BG's. I was in Orgrimmar when I queued and left my computer to do some work. I check back 30 minutes later to find my toon sitting in the middle of the Barron's just south of Org. The bot was hung up and I wasn't queued anymore... the logs on the bot said I got a BG it accepted it and ended up in IoC and that's the last log entry before I stopped the bot 10 minutes later.

So I hearthed back to Dalaran and ported back to Org and queued again. This whole event is a bit unsettling... so I'm watching the bot closer now for the time being. Anyone have a good explanation short of a GM screwing with me? (I hear it's very uncommon for GM's to do stuff like this these days anyhow)

Yah it was quite unsettling. I'm still on the lookout for a 72 hour notice.

That's happened to me before. It's because you've left the bg and got the bug where you still have DoTs on you which will kill you and send you to the gravegard. Nothing to worry about.

Thank god there was a reasonable explanation for this. This makes perfect sense because I was sitting in a graveyard spot. Thanks for letting me know.
