A few things about me. Lets say I have information 90% of the community doesnt about how Blizzard works and more so about last banwave and how to get banned.

Lets start with the banwave. This happens when Blizz is able to find an exact trackable function of the bot amongst several accounts that is obviously not human IE the default interrupt time of x.xxsec and over 20k people interrupting at that exact moment of a spell. If you EVERY submit a ticket via the botting computer for tech support they WILL see hb regardless of you renaming it ect. DO NOT submit an MSCONFIG until you have completely removed any buddy product. Do not use auto interrupt EVER or anything with an exact time into an ability (IE stun when casting x spell etc) these are EASILY trackable.

If you received a perma-ban it is ONLY Because you have been observed via an actual GM in game botting. Note they can also track your incoming/outgoing gold/items. Every duplicatable item, bottable boe etc have a high value associated with them in their system and it will flag your account to be checked if you are gathering more than the normal amount of these.

There are 4-8 criteria that must be met when a GM is observing you to judge if you are indeed botting. They can spectate your character first person. Is your Warlock snapping in circles to quickly dot things with the camera whipping wildly to face the mob? Do you jump ever (all live players jump OFTEN). Despawn a mob you are killing do you INSTANTLY go to another mob to complete that quest? Pull you to a certain spot 3-4 times. Do you take the same exact path instantly without hesitation to being ported back to kill mobs or continue the quest? Etc etc. Can go into more detail with other ways for mods if you PM me.

I farm bot all day and never get reported but the second I go enyo in raid or BG I got banned. While you would think farm bots (not dungeons but herbs/fish/ore) would be the number one way to get banned this will only ever happen if you are reported by a certain number of players then a GM witnesses you doing it testing a few ways above. Farming is actually the least impactful on the game as gold is easily earned without it. While raid/pvp progression is something people actually care about and would take time to report you on. How often have you seen a guy farming nodes vs someone you thing may have auto interrupt/stun?

It takes 10-20 people reporting you to flag to a GM. As it is a low priority ticket it has up to 72 hours to even be answered though the que time is more realistically between 4-18 hours. SO you may not even be on when this happens. Even then as long as you are not afk botting you should be fine.

My tips to successful botting:
*Use a guild bank with at least 5 people you trust in it at rank 1-2 and keep all of you gold in there. When banned if this is the case and you are not farming over 500k a day or something stupid that bank money will be there after you are banned for your friends to withdraw and give you. Make sure not to trade lots of gold to your friends on those characters.
*Do not put in a ticket if you are botting...EVER... It brings unnecessary attention to your account. Google or the blizz support site will have ANY answer they will give you. They literally use internal versions of those to answer your questions. That or wowhead/google for forum posts themselves.
*Turn off all auto interrupt/stun features of your Combat Routines. Manually use your trinkets as/pots as well (not pop on boss) as this is EASILY trackable.
*Don't talk about HB with your friends in game.. its stupid don't do it.
*If you feel like you may have been reported for botting just don't play/bot for 72 hours and any report you think you may have had will be answered as "Not in game can't verify". (this may not work if you feel you are reported often as it takes a certain number of reports to create a ticket)
*Do NOT farm old dungeons AFK as many of the lesser bots do this and it is one of the TOP things monitored.
*Do NOT afk tank/heal in dungeons. Healing afk is acceptable if your friend knows you are doing it and is the one tanking.
*Set your follow distance to something between 10-15 on the tank so you know you won't be left behind when dungeoning AFK.

There are so many more ways to help but for now I am going back to watching twitch.tv. If you are a mod and reading this.. I would love to be able to reply to posts.. Feel I can help a lot of people out.

First, they will NEVER delete a guild unless ALL users in the guild are found to be botting.
Second, If you set up your guild bank in a manner that a normal guild would have it there will be no problems. For example labeling all the tabs and sorting your deposits based on the labels. Also make sure you do not have just GM and the two other default ranks... Give full permission to your gbank to only the rank 1 people who you trust to give things back just in case. The rest should have limited access as though it were indeed a normal guild. Invite RANDOM PEOPLE to your guild offering free repairs daily (keeping them at a non rank 1-2 to avoid the guild dethrone feature). Do NOT put duplicated items in there. Do NOT deposit 100k a day in it and if you do buy an AH from one of your friends for the 100k (or 5 20k transactions is more IDEAL) and then have them deposit it).
Finally, the most a gm can do if 5+ people not on your account are in the gbank is seize the items YOU deposited or the gold YOU deposited. In these EXTREME cases they will most likely still leave a good chunk of what you deposited as they can not confirm ALL of your items/gold was gathered by botting. They can only remove the items they CONFIRMED were obtained that way.

The obvious exception to this would be people who use their guild bank to sell gold. Withdrawing huge amounts of gold near daily and giving to a random player is just asking for it. This is merely a way to help with getting stuff back in the unfortunate event you are caught. Like all things botting if you are negligible with it and dont make the concerted effort you will pay the consequences. I have personally been banned a few times now and using this method have yet to lose more than the gold and items on my characters because of it. In the end... Following the guidelines layed out means your guild will NOT be deleted and guilds are FAR from suicide.

Blizzard doesn't care about guilds unless you're running a big setup and you either get all your accounts banned for gold farming heavy (10 accs banned) or you get reported for controlling the AH.

Agreed. Most of the post is uninformed cr*p. No disrespect, I like the feels but it isn't with any authority or decent experience.

If you're farming 500k a day then you should have good methods of moving and concealing the gold flow.

Except the last 3 and only ban waves have been from either software detection and/or injection nothing to do with what you have been rambling on with....

Actually 2 x confirmed banwaves due to detection so far:

13/5/2015 and 16/12/2015

The January 2016 bans was very low in numbers and with this not classified as banwave, but scheduled ban on hundreds of already flagged accounts, either by players reports or other methods and/or few other accounts, flagged but not banned in the 16/12/2015 banwave.

In january I lost ~20 new fresh accs I was created few days before 22/01/2016 could not be flagged and even i lost one test account used only to check realms and running Hb maybe max 10 minutes, all 6 months bans.
Only my old immortal (banned in 13/5/2015 ) acc survived to this day and all accs created after 22/01/2016.

Last banwaves were due to detection except that small one like Aion said which maybe some got flagged before tripwire went on or were a buildup or flagged accounts not done in December banwave.

I bot 24/7 I make millions of gold dungeon/raid farming resetting instances non-stop and I receive an perma here and there if I do something silly like trade gold direct between them they have never hit my seller one yet either to my amazement and most are coming upto 2 months now buying tokens.

I always laugh when I see little botting users come on swearing they only use HB a few hours a day or just for rotations then get banned scream detection detection or the opposite try and preach this is what I do to stay safe trust me I don't get banned when really they don't get reported nor detection on blizzard end ain't running.

Like I said most come down to detection and player reports simple. GMs are stupid I got a ban 3 weeks ago I think now and they hit 2 accounts for sharing gold directly (was very silly was lazy one night will not happen again since I know this flagged them since they all do the exact same thing betsides that) all my 8 bots farm the same server I could not believe they did not hit my seller toon or the others with instance farming 24/7 with interrupts on lol.

If HB was truly detected I'd of been hit now, I do believe I will be banned in next big banwave if blizzard find a way to detect HB again but then again so will these people that say I only use the bot like this or I only use it for a few hours per day.
That and If GMs pick up their game when getting player reports or seeing things that flag the accounts to look a bit harder Come on Blizzard come at me ! Can't even ban shit properly

what big hb update? they are updating to suite Microsoft software or something rapphus said for all buddy bots yesterday but as for the tripwire saga and updates to fix detection that is over now and been dealt with.
If your caught now means your permantley flagged or you got done doing something stupid or by player reports by being stupid. Or thirdly we all wake up and come on here to find 300 ban reports within a few hours then we know there has been another detection but we will talk about that when it happens again not point talking about it till then.
