Using the 'Auto-Sort' button in the Inventory

So I'm developing a very simple undercutting plugin for the auction house, but I'd like to use the auto-sort button that's in-game to keep things nice and tidy. I couldn't locate it in the api documentation. Would someone be so kind as to point it out for me? Thanks

This button ingame only change visual your cells. Its dont send to server anything. And after restart you can see items unsorted again. So AB dont have this.
