Using Oculus Ring proc

Ever since the new changes to Oculus Ring, it's considered a best-in-slot item for all follower builds. However, Demonbuddy or Trinity doesn't seem to recognize the Oculus Ring proc, and does not seem to utilize it. Are there any plans of incorporating a feature to try and utilize Oculus Ring procs (as long as not in monster aoe, etc)?
