Using GB for a few days now..

Hello everyone,

So I bought GB lifetime and I've been using to farm herbs (I will probably add either LW or Mining soon as second profession) with a Priest (lol at me I know ) and my silly lil 150% carpet.

The thing is that I either do something wrong or I don't know I suck at making some Gs. I farmed around 24h in total and I managed to get some herbs and stuff which I sold for around only 500G.. I also died so many times that I have stopped counting xD

Any suggestions or ideas of what I should do? I keep reading of people making 2-3k/day and I seriously can't figure this out yet Since I only make like 160G/day or something..

Try a different profile if you keep dying, as an example there are different scholazar basin farmin profiles where they take you over either The oracles, or the Frenzyheart camp, and you want the one that takes you over the one your friendly with, i woke up one morning after trying a new profile some1 posted being short 1.1k gold from repairs D:

Imo I would go Herb/Mining if you wanna farm. Thats just me. And I made 1k my first day of botting mining (4 hours)

Make sure your gear is upgraded to a minimum of high level blues, make sure your talents are aimed at damage dealing not healing.
Ensure the macros you are using are good and working.
Make sure you are at neutral/friendly status with Sons of Hodir.
Finally, avoid a route with Icecrown in it, my advice would be to use the profile made by Tony called The Safe Profile.

Oh... and grab mining so you can farm both in a single pass.

500g seems a little on the lowside, after 24 hours, even with a slow flying mount.
But since you died a lot, as you stated, I think that's plausible.

Improvements:
- Get a flying mount the instant you reach 5000g + the mount cost.
- Get mining with herbalism. There's really no excuse not to.
- Grab more professions on your alts, this way you can launder your gathered mats for bigger profits.
- Test some good macros for your combat keys. A priest is bad enough.
- If your priest is not a main, and you don't want to spend a lot of gold on gear upgrades, get the basic blue crafted pvp items, it helps.
- People making 2-3k a day are those who have accomplished the above, and have been in a set routine for weeks. Once you get yours sorted, the gold should roll in quickly.
