US D3 patching issues?

Hey guys, is anyone else getting this?

Win 7 says d3 has encountered an error

idk what's wrong :(

I am ofc running as admin - and it was working fine last night before the stupid patch

I also tried deleting the updates folder, but no dice
 
Try deleting the updates folder and let the launcher re-download them,
 
I didn't get that specific issue, but when i tried earlier today to patch, it just stood at 0%. I tried about 10 minutes ago and got it to correctly patch.... although servers are still down :-/
 
This happens when the servers are down. The game can't contact the server to validate the game version. WoW handles this issue with no problems, but they seemed to have overlooked it for D3. Just wait until the servers come back up and it should work.

Confirmed.

Yes, the client needs to contact with the server but unfortunately due to the maintenance it's not able to connect and validate the game ver.

I had that issue earlier today, Kick. And by earlier, I mean about 4 hours ago. I shut it down, waited about 15 minutes and tried again and it updated the second time I tried.

I know they just extended the maintenance another 3 hours, so they are probably just having issues atm.
 
My client updated just fine earlier. This same thing happened to me during the last patch. I kept trying to launch shortly before maintenance was over and it kept crashing during the patching phase. It would say that it was restarting the game in order to download/apply the patch and then it would say "Diablo 3 is already running" when it tried to patch. I just waited until the servers were back up and it patched just fine, so I'd suggest just waiting.
 
Ah, I thought US realms were up, I guess it was just EU realms then

I'll wait for them to pop up =)

Debating on buying a 2nd account for full time botting but I'll be damned if I'm hand leveling a bot char.
 
Same thing happened to me Kick, but in my case the error didn't close my launcher, and it patched alright.
Though BNet is down.
