Updater.exe not doing anything

I have recently downloaded the Archebuddy bot from the website and upon clicking on the updater or running it as Admin, it doesn't do anything, either that or it will come up with "Updater has stopped working" as a windows error or something. I have tried as much as i can, i even tried to get a friend to send me his folders but i still couldnt start the "Updater" file and therefor couldnt load past that. Although with some extra information, i could still load the GPS part of the bot, so i have no idea what to do now, could anyone please help me with this? thankyou in advance.

Extra; i have also tried disabling all anti-virus software and windows firewall and that still hasnt helped.
