[Updated] 5Boxing Success Thread

Hey guys,

Im going to be making a success thread regarding my RAF Boxer's

5 Boxing.
RAF setup.webp

Team 1(Full 90's) Level 85 in 16 Hours.
1X Paladin
1X Shaman
3X Hunter

Team 2 (Current)
45 - 6 hour 30 minutes.webp
3X Monks
1X Warrior
1X Priest

Team 2 is lvl 32 in 3 hours 40 minutes play'd
Update: Team2 is lvl 47 in 7 hours play'd.

Priest is healing, Warrior Tanking and 3 monk as dps.
Attempted Monks for healer, but is no good. Priest is working much better.
Monk's dps is alright.. not as quick as 3x hunter's though. will see in higher levels.


Team 3 (Not Started Yet)
Taking Ideas. Not druids(High result in ban)

Will update this post with a lot of info/etc tonight!

TIP: Do not use Monk's to Heal especially from lvl 1-50.
They are the WORST at it, constant wipes at lvl 15-25 so stopped using it as they're heal is a channeled-1 person heal and is horrible :)

Also, Dungeonbuddy WILL skip some dungeon quests in lower end dungeons.. It's annoying.
You can manually start/finish them just make sure you stop your Leader before the instance is cleared or else he will leave the instance and the 4 followers will also leave.

For Team 3 you're doing multiple specs like healing, dps, and tank? Are you just going through dungeons or just grinding?

dungeons only :)

Will be 3x dps, 1tank and 1heal but all druids =)

Team 2 is lvl 32 in 3 hours 40 minutes play'd
 
Nice project, but what are you going to do with all your 90s after lvl up? Why farming with a warr and priest and not druids ? ( for faster GB use ).

I find that with druids, while you do get more nodes per hour,

they get BANNED a heck of a lot quicker then any other class!

Due to the fact that most botters use druids and result in high nodes per hour which result in a ban =)

I am going to be doing 10man raid's once i have a viable team and we will see how it goes =) All with Tuanha/Millz Premium.
 
So Arcticfury, I asked in the other thread, but do you have any actual screenshots of the played time?

With Dungeonbuddy skipping quests, and you actually having to manually do things, I'd love to see how you shaved nearly 8 hours off playing the characters manually.

Last time I tried Dungeonbuddy with RAF, it did a terrible job and generally took 2-3 times as long as clearing a dungeon manually.

Also, what are you doing to level the characters to dungeon-ready level? What races are you using?

Sorry I didnt see your other post. To answer some questions

1) What are you doing to level the characters to dungeon-ready level? What races are you using?

I usually use human. I set Logmeout to Level 15 and occasionally watch them and make sure at say level 8 and 12 that they are all grouped up together. For the most part they stay together and get the RAF bonus.

If I have a race that is by himself, I will make another race that way he gets the RAF bonus, and then leave the other character created at 15.

2) Dungeonbuddy Skipping quests

I noticed that it only skips quests in the level 18-22 range, and some from 38-45. Other then that it picks up all quests except for gathering quests.

Also, The LONGEST leveling time is from 60-70 by dungeons.


I will start taking screenshots and updating this thread with them =)

Can you post your dungeonbuddy settings for me please? Also, what CR's are you using? Singular?

Which leveling method are you using to 15 besides logmeout? Kicks or something else?

Hey Ryfto,

Thanks for your interest :) Any questions feel free to ask and to answer your questions,

I will post the dungeonbuddy settings asap for you.

For Leveling, I use Kicks and it works flawless till 15. usually about 2 hours with the RAF bonus. It's high but atleast you dont have to worry about it just set it and forget it.

For Combat routines, I use Singular for the Leveling 1-85 and then I use Tuanha Premium for 85-90 and for my JP Dungeon farming group.

3x Hunter, 1xDK Tank, 1x Pally Heals. JP Farming about 1200/HR With Tuanha CR. (To convert to Honor Points). Ilevels 470 right now roughly, so taking a while to do them


I am going to try Arena 3's Tonight!!!!!! Will post on how well it works out!

Awesome arcticfury! Thanks for this thread. I'm probably going to be doing my own RAF team soon, so any help/tips would be much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
 
Another quick question...

Are you running dungeonbuddy on all 5 characters, or are you using Lazyboxer or an equivalent on the followers?
 
Aren't you facing any dungeon buggs? because I've tried to do scenario farm with 3 man group and I found out that about ~20% of the random scenario is bugged and bots got stuck?
 
I'm using a Monk in Full Heirloom Set for Healing in my 5 Man Team, working really really well. Tho I had to change Combat Movement to True on my Monk to work out, but probably I somewhen changed it by mistake to false.

I only had to interact a few times when they got lost, like one char just didnt move on. Just had to move a bit and it continued.

Meanwhile they're 75 :) Stopping for today.

BTW, use a Grind Profile for 1-15. I don't know how long it took, but it was <30minutes I guess to hit 15

5Man Team
Tank: Warrior with Singular - Standart Settings
Heal: Monk with TuanHa's Monk Special edition - Standart Full AFK Settings
DD: Hunter with Singular - Standart Settings
DD: Mage with Singular - Standart Settings
DD: Elesham with Singular - Standart Settings
 
Make-up doesn't matter, just like it doesn't matter in any lfd group.

Choose a tank, choose a healer, choose 3 dps and go. The chances of you failing are very small.
