Seems as the only change is box opening

Yup, still no update. Only thing that changed that was mentioned in the patch notes was that they Fixed "Explode" modifier on strongboxes.

And you just assume no anti-bot measures were made?

The developer is being very careful for things like that. A patch of 10 MB has more than just a fix on the strongboxes.

Well to be honest the strong box bug has been around for more than a few weeks. Took a long time to fix it. Don't think it was just some anti-bot measure
