Update issue

Hey,

I seem to be having an issue updating to the new build. I get a pop up window saying "An error has occurred during update process. Please report this error on the forums. System.IO.IOexception: the process cannot access the file '....' because it is being used by another process."

I don't have any other HB windows up and to make sure I even restarted my PC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Richey021,

Easiest way to recover is do this:

• Reboot your machine [size=-2](eliminates any zombie processes)[/size]
  
  
• Do a clean install as described here:
  
  Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:"Clean installing" Honorbuddy​
  
  Be certain to use a NEW directory, and don't install on top of an existing Honorbuddy installation.
