Exilebuddy will be undergoing extended downtime for the 2.6.0 content update when it releases soon.
Maintenance is expected to take a few days at least, and possibly more depending on additional patches that get deployed this following week. We'll know when the patch goes live and we've had a chance to work through all the changes.
For users unfamiliar with the update process:
- Each client update requires a new bot build. During the first week of these large updates, multiple daily patches/hot fixes are released which break the bot, so botting is greatly affected and thus why we never rush to release a partially working bot.
- Downtime will last as long as it needs until we're comfortable with the current state of the bot. This means things being as safe as possible to use, and the bot actually working in Standard leagues at minimal.
- Full new league support is usually not possible right away, but Exilebuddy will be updated to handle as much as possible over the upcoming weeks as soon as possible. This means certain aspects of the API might not be updated to handle new things in the game right away, but will eventually be added.
- A Beta build will be released to test the current state of the bot first when it's ready. Beta simply means it's highly possible something is terribly broken, and has gone unnoticed during our testing, so if you can't take such risks on your account, then you will want to wait for Release. The Beta builds are only accessible to users who have an active key at the time of the build being deployed. If your key expired before the Beta build is released, or expires before the Release build is deployed, you'll have to wait for the Release build as that's when compensation is given out.
- A Release build will be deployed when everything looks stable enough to compensate users for the downtime, and users should be able to enjoy using Exilebuddy with minimal disturbances. However, this game patches a lot, so please keep that in mind for the first month of this update.
Various status updates will be made as needed in this thread as the update progresses, so check back often, or subscribe to this thread to be notified of new developments!
