Exilebuddy will be undergoing extended downtime for the 2.6.0 content update when it releases soon.

Maintenance is expected to take a few days at least, and possibly more depending on additional patches that get deployed this following week. We'll know when the patch goes live and we've had a chance to work through all the changes.

For users unfamiliar with the update process:

- Each client update requires a new bot build. During the first week of these large updates, multiple daily patches/hot fixes are released which break the bot, so botting is greatly affected and thus why we never rush to release a partially working bot.

- Downtime will last as long as it needs until we're comfortable with the current state of the bot. This means things being as safe as possible to use, and the bot actually working in Standard leagues at minimal.

- Full new league support is usually not possible right away, but Exilebuddy will be updated to handle as much as possible over the upcoming weeks as soon as possible. This means certain aspects of the API might not be updated to handle new things in the game right away, but will eventually be added.

- A Beta build will be released to test the current state of the bot first when it's ready. Beta simply means it's highly possible something is terribly broken, and has gone unnoticed during our testing, so if you can't take such risks on your account, then you will want to wait for Release. The Beta builds are only accessible to users who have an active key at the time of the build being deployed. If your key expired before the Beta build is released, or expires before the Release build is deployed, you'll have to wait for the Release build as that's when compensation is given out.

- A Release build will be deployed when everything looks stable enough to compensate users for the downtime, and users should be able to enjoy using Exilebuddy with minimal disturbances. However, this game patches a lot, so please keep that in mind for the first month of this update.

Various status updates will be made as needed in this thread as the update progresses, so check back often, or subscribe to this thread to be notified of new developments!

Update: Everything is looking pretty good, and we hope to have the first testable beta Monday!

The first Beta for 2.6.0 is expected mid-late Monday (gmt-6 timezone). The tentative patch notes are as follows:

  • Item.IsRelic added to identify Legacy League Relics.
  • ChallengesUi updates:
    • InventoryControl_Leaguestone1, InventoryControl_Leaguestone2, and InventoryControl_Leaguestone3 added to refer to each inventory control on the Legacy UI.
    • IsLegacyTabVisible added to know if the legacy tab is visible or not. If it's not, then the legacy related APIs shouldn't be used.
    • IsLegacyTabSelected added to know if the legacy tab is currently selected or not. If it's not, then the legacy related APIs shouldn't be used.
    • SwitchToLegacyTab added to switch to the Legacy tab.
    • IsLeaguestoneUnlocked added to see if a slot is unlocked or not (or, devs can just check player level against the thresholds)
  • InventoryControlWrapper.UseItem updated to allow using Leaguestones from the Main inventory only.
  • InventoryControlWrapper.HasLeaguestoneTabOverride added; HasCustomTabOverride will check it.
  • GemLeveler updates to try and handle the level skill gem hud changes (icon disabled on skill use).
  • Added the Leaguestone item class object.
    • CurrentCharges / MaxCharges returns the respective charge count.
    • MinMonsterLevel / MaxMonsterLevel returns the level range the item can apply to.
    • AppliesToCurrentAreaByLevel returns if the item is usable in the current area by level criteria only.
  • The function ChargesComponent.GetMaxCharges was added for non-flask items like Leaguestones.
  • InventorySlot updates:
    • InventorySlot.Sell removed because it doesn't map to a correct value anymore.
    • InventorySlot.Leaguestone added to refer to the legacy leaguestone inventory.
    • Added ArmourersWorkbench, SharpeningWheel, BowmakersTools, ArtisansBench, Headstones, and BlessingFont to refer to Master device inventories.
    • InventorySlot.PassiveTreeJewels added to refer to equipped passive tree jewels.
  • The new chest, Relic Vault, was added to OldGrindBot's chest settings to be opened by default.
  • ItemFilterEditor now has a default Leaguestones pickup filter. Existing filters will need to manually match this type.
  • Item.IsLeaguestoneType added to match items with the metadata "Metadata/Items/Leaguestones/". This will not match the "Mystery Leaguestone" item which is a currency item.
  • Item.IsMysteryLeaguestone added to match the "Mystery Leaguestone" currency item type.
  • CreateCharacterState.SelectLeague updated to CreateCharacterState.SelectLeagueEx to reflect the changes in supporting SSF leagues.
  • Added the CheckForTrialOfAscendancyStuckTask to OGB.
  • Updates for 2.6.0.4.
  • Updates for 2.6.0.3.
  • Updates for 2.6.0.2.
  • Updates for 2.6.0.1.
  • Known Issues:
    • SocialUi.InviteToParty can now fail due to the panel being scrolled down as it's no longer a footer gui element.
    • ChargesComponent logic might need to be reworked since non-flash items can have charges now.
    • Obstacle placement for Trial of Ascendancy doors seems to break more now.
    • Skill gem level up icons disable in the client after skill use.
    • Client auto-interacts when LMB is held while moving.

Beta #1498 has just been deployed for 2.6.0!

Please remember to use the Support forums and post full logs if you run into any issues.

The Exilebuddy Beta/Release Thread (2.4.0+) thread has been updated with the patch notes.

A basic plugin to use Leaguestones is planned this week, but full API support already exists to work with them if users want to make their own.

Beta #1499 was just deployed that fixes a small API issue mentioned in the previous post.

We're set to do a Release build, most likely tomorrow, and give previous users their downtime key compensation. Various minor fixes and improvements will continue to take place as usual as the league progresses, but the bulk of the API seems well tested and working as expected now.

Beta #1500 was just deployed for tonight's 2.6.0d patch. It's possible additional client patches might be incoming soon to fix more client issues, so please be aware of this.

Release build #261 is being prepared to be deployed soon along with downtime compensation (Support has to do this, so it'll most likely take place within the next 12 hours).

Thanks to all our users for their patience and testing for during this update! Project changes and planning for the upcoming 3.0 expansion will began really soon, so keep an eye out on the forums for new information regarding this.

Release #263 was just deployed for the 2.6.0 update! Downtime compensation has also been added as well to keys.
