Unsure on using honorbuddy

Iv'e had honorbuddy for years, acc has been banned before. I would really like to use honorbuddy for my raids and mythic +'s. I use Vitalic Rogue routine. I don't want to use it if people are getting banned for using routines in this manner on the regular. When i used to bot it seemed mainly accounts were being banned for self gain(Farming etc) more than combat routines in raids etc where it's more under the radar. Can people please give me their opinions etc. i would really appreciate it. :) Tia
 
Imo, using only routines are the worst you can do.

If you can't play on a decent level, well, play another class/spec.
When HB is down after a patch, and it's raiding time, you'll have less DPS than normal. After a while, officers and such in the guild WILL notice.
If you get banned, you wouldn't have earned anything.

Imo, botting is for profit and nothing else.

Hey qztr, I'm curious, how is 5x dungeon botting going? Do you do mythics? Or just bot for normal for gold?
 
Dont do it! I used routines on my demon hunter, never used anything else. Used Millz premium routine the night HoV came out, and the next day i had received a 6 months ban :p
 
Dont use it, Honorbuddy is having banwaves several times a year, you will lose your account quickly.

I'd be surprised if we don't get hit ahead of 7.1.5. or whatever patch is planned to let us use WoW tokens for other services.
 
Thought that already went live? Regardless that's oooobviously why they're going so hard on bots now.

They want the rmt market to themselves.

All that aside - they seem to always ban right before or right after a new tier.

I'm torn as I had to reroll yet again due to main account like number 8 being hit. Hb wqs is the only thing allowing me to meagerly catch up.

Part of me wants to stop now ahead of 7.1.5. The other part is telling myself hb team said they found and fixed the detection and some. Ideally this would buy us many more months before they can figure a way in again.

I know if I stop using now I'll fall behind and/or lose my coveted and already limited rl time but maybe save my account.

On the other hand if I keep going all will be well until POP gg nighthold.

Wish I wasn't so damn old :p
