Attaching a log, although there's nothing in there that I can find where it was done.

I manually intervened with Rohan the Assassin as bot wasn't moving to attack him. At that point she still had heirloom head, back, and legs on. At the point the log stops, she now has 'Cowl of the Noxious Glade' and 'Rimblat's Cloak' on. One she got as a reward prior to killing Rohan and the other after. Autoequip equips a trinket at some point in that time, but I couldn't see anything about it replacing the head or back items.

Items got sold by Cava's script, but they shouldn't have been unequipped in the first place.

[edit]
Actually, just did an item restore, the items were marked as destroyed, not sold, which seems strange as they have a sell price so I'd have expected the script to sell them, unless it was something else.

in your auto-equip settings have you made sure that Replace Heirlooms is turned off? as far as the items go you can always put a ticket into a gm to get them restored or use the automated battle.net thing.

Edit: the only other thing could of been if a quest or something else needed to equip and item in that spot, like the deathknight quest where you have to equip the swords and beat on that guy for information. i didnt find anything in the logs, so theres a good chance it wasn't honorbuddy.

Yeah, I had replace heirlooms turned off. I was able to use the new battle.net restore feature to get the items mailed back to me, so no loss in the end, but if HB (or a plugin) was doing something unexpected I thought I should report. I don't think it would have been a quest, this is my 3rd or 4th char doing these quests and its never happened before, and the items I ended up with equipped just seemed like random quest rewards I had in my pack suitable for those slots. I dunno, might not have been HB, but not sure what else it could be. I think I've seen someone else say they had heirlooms unequipped when using Cava's scripts and they'd actually turned auto-equip off, so wondered if it might be something else altogether in HB doing it, but like you say nothing in log about it.

hb by itself wouldn't do it. just keep an eye out, if you want to make sure autoequip wont do it you can have it ignore those inventory slots all together, but from the log i couldn't tell what exactly happened.

if you use auto equip plugin set the protected slots and ignored inventory types + replace heirlooms false

tripple protection, nothing can be exchanged when it comes to heirlooms then.
