Underlight Angler

This is IN DEVELOPMENT

This is for Questing Bot. You will also need my other Plugin Keep Lure Active when fishing up the rares.

General: Use Zone Check: True, Use Mark of Aquaos: True (if you are a tank and can dps the big guy solo), Use Arcane Lure: True, Pause: 60 seconds
Azsuna: All True
Highmountain: All True
Open Ocean: All True
Stormheim: All True
Suramar: All True
Val'Sharah: All True[/td]

What this should do:

  1. Makes sure you have at least 10 Arcane Lure.
    • You can buy these from AH or it will fish them for you below.
    • I recommend having at least 50 due to the RNG-esus factor.
  2. Take you to Margoss' Retreat to get Arcane Lure
    • It does this by going to Dalaran Sewers first and fishing up the Emblem of Margoss
    • You can skip this step by manually placing your character in Margoss' Retreat either by Glider, Druid Boomkin Flapping, Demon Hunter Glide, Lock summon, etc.
  3. It then fishes up 20 Drowned Mana at a time and then buys 20 Arcane Lure until you have 100 or more Arcane Lure. The 100 may change (you can edit in the file yourself if you want), but I did 100 so you don't have to ever go back.
  4. It will then start fishing in Azsuna, Val'Sharah, Highmountain, and then Stormheim, Suramar, and then Open Ocean for the Rare fish needed for Bigger Fish to Fry Achievement.
    • I will be adding more random spots in, but for now only 1 spot per zone.
  5. It will fish up the Luminescent Pearl in a pool.
  6. It will then do the Quest chain for Underlight Angler

Right now here is what is working in a table format. I will keep updating as I go. If you want to help set this up, please let me know and I'll let you know how. If you want to test this, please go ahead and don't afk much while testing. If there's an issue found, please let me know what it is with a log file and maybe a description (or screenshot) and tell me what it maybe should have done.

With no Arcane Lures in inventory it spams this and doesn't move at all.

It does move however once you have some lures (bought off AH)

Edit: Is it meant to use the lure once it's begun fishing? Or is there something that toggles the use of the lure?

Where were you at when you started?
 
I started in Dal, And that message just spammed!

So it doesn't appear to use the Lures when fishing and I also fished up a "Rusty Queenfish Brooch" which it does not appear to be using either.

Edit: I manually used the bait to catch the Ghostfish and the bot completely ignored the pool.

Read the comment above about the lures. You need my other plugin. I wasn't going to re-write it when plugin already existed.

Where the bot ignores the pool, there's not much I can do. The questing addon Mr Fish It is ignoring it. I believe I have everything set properly and I did go to the location where one is and it's supposed to cast "in the direction" of the pool, but I can't say for sure it works or not. A screenshot, log (or both) or anything would be wonderful
 
promoted new version. Should fix the Dalaran Sewers issue. Was an issue with my If statement on where you were currently that I was unable to test.

It tried to cast as soon as it walked in, but never finished the cast or continued casting afterwards

Edit: I've tried multiple times to make it run. All it does is run down to the sewers and stand in the center of that room doing nothing.

Edit: After goblin gliding across, Everything appears to be working well :)

I forgot I actually updated MrFishIt locally, so maybe that was some issue. I'll post here and on front page. Replace it in your C:\Honorbuddy\Quest Behaviors folder.

I did notice my Char walked off to go get a herb node that spawned and never mad an attempt to return to the fishing spot. It got stuck on a cast loop where the herb was. So it's probably worthwhile turning off gathering for any who are using this.

I fixed the Dalaran thing. I accidentally removed the code to get rid of the Sewer Carp it was looking for to switch pools. You had 1 Sewer Carp so the request was satisfied and it didn't try again. Check out the new one I just posted. I am running a fresh character through now. I will look at disabling herbing/mining as well, but not sure how to do it yet.
 
i will be trying this later today after i get darkmoon mount tnx for this its gonna be awsome
 
Finished up to Stormheim afterwards bot just stops and giving me the

Bot stopping! Reason: Nothing more to do. message not sure what to do.

Profile works pretty good besides in azsuna not activating the lure for Ghostly Queenfish but after manual activation fishes from the pool .
